Reply with quote | #1 | Dr. Deaton, My husband and I were in to see you for our initial consultation in early July due to my elevated fsh levels (measured 18). You instructed me to return to the clinic on day 3 of my menstrual cycle for an fsh level and amh level so that we could see what our options for treatment may be. I have not been able to be tested due to the fact that I have not had a period since June 27. I have taken multiplte home pregnancy tests all of which have been negative. I haven't had any symptoms of pregnancy other than right low back pain, which actually has me a little concerned with my previous history an ectopic. Should I be concerned? I haven't ever completely missed a cycle. Thank You |

Reply with quote | #2 | Thanks for the message. If your home pregnancy tests are negative, I wouldn't be overly worried about an ectopic. Most likely, you are not ovulating and therefore not getting a period. This scenario would also fit the high FSH. Give the office a call and come in for blood work. We'll figure this out. Blessings. __________________ Jeffrey L. Deaton, M.D.
